Firebird is holding a fundraising event once again for the local CB chapter of P.E.O.! Join us Saturday, June 29th for an interactive scavenger hunt around Crested Butte and solve the mystery of who stole a “famous” painting!

The great Jasperterian went missing decades ago under tragic circumstances and now his long lost painting of Crested Butte is going to auction. Yet something is amiss – as soon as the painting resurfaces, it disappears again. In this scavenger hunt mystery, participants solve clues to find the locations of the artist who may be a part of this art heist. Talk to artists, find clues, and see if you can solve who took the painting. Every artist has a secret. Can you uncover them all?

Solve the mystery on your own or with friends. This mystery scavenger hunt is a fundraiser for P.E.O., an educational organization that provides scholarships for women both within the Gunnison Valley and in the world beyond. This interactive mystery extravaganza will take place on June 29th. Registration is between 12:30pm-1:00pm. The “art auction” starts promptly at 1:00pm. After that, detectives will have free rein of the town to interview suspects and look for clues. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 per child. The event starts at the Queen of All Saints Parish Hall located at 405 Sopris. To register, purchase a ticket below.

P.E.O. chapters support the educational and charitable funds of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, but are not classified as charitable by the IRS.
